Islamabad United’s 3rd game saw them facing against tournament favorites Karachi Kings. Karachi Kings won the toss and put Islamabad United in to bat first. The team started off strongly with a solid partnership between opener Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif. A score above 140 was looking on the cards but after some good bowling by the Karachi Kings, the Islamabad United batting lineup started to crumble. At the end of the innings, the ISLU team ended with 132 runs on the board, primarily due to some late hitting by tailender, Muhammad Sami.
It was again up to Islamabad United bowlers to put up a show for the fans. And they did just that.
